CCPA Privacy Notice
PRIVACY STATEMENT-CALIFORNIA
This PRIVACY NOTICE FOR CALIFORNIA RESIDENTS supplements the
information contained in the Jiinubi Privacy Policy
located here and
applies solely to visitors, users and others who reside in the State of
California ( consumers or you ). We adopt this notice to comply with the
California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 ( CCPA ) and other California privacy
laws. Any terms defined in the CCPA have the same meaning when used in this
notice.
Jiinubi is Committed to
Privacy
Jiinubi is a longtime champion of
online privacy. In fact, privacy has been one of our core values since
inception. We live this value within our business and our work with others.
CCPA
On January 1, 2020, the California Consumer Privacy Act of
2018 (CCPA) will come into effect for California residents. The CCPA embraces
many of the privacy rights for which we have advocated for years. We want to
assure you that we still advocate for those rights and more. For those of you
who reside in California, this page will help you understand the CCPA and our
compliance with it.
CCPA Overview
Information We Collect
At Jiinubi, we collect information
for two primary reasons. First, we collect information contractually necessary
to execute purchases. This includes basic account information and payment
information. It also includes information that contractually must be shared with
third-party service providers, for example, Whois
data is required to be shared with registries. For gTLDs, ICANN is implementing
a gated Whois system where only certain fields will
be publicly visible. However, unless you have chosen to protect yourself
through a Whois domain privacy service, the full Whois details will be made accessible to law enforcement,
intellectual property attorneys and other ICANN approved parties. We ll let you
know when we have a contractual or legal duty to collect and/or share
information in this way.
For some products or services that you purchase, data will
be collected directly by the third-party service provider. This will be true
for most products and services purchased on our Apps Marketplace. Data
collected by these third-parties directly does not fall under Jiinubi s CCPA responsibilities.
Second, we collect information to help you with customer
support issues and to curate a great online experience for you. For customer
support issues, the information we collect is usually legally required, such as
when you are locked out of your account and need our assistance to regain
access. To enhance your experience, we use cookies and related third party
service providers and their use is based on your informed consent, which you
may later withdraw.
